Sebo hit the bar – goalless draw against Strasbourg

After the international break, it was back to league action. In the 15th round of the French ligue 1 Valenciennes travelled to Stade de la Meinau to face Racing Club de Strasbourg, commonly known as RC Strasbourg.

As it was the case in the last four games against Rennes, Lyon, Caen and Anderlecht Brussels, Sebo played his part from the beginning of the game against Racing as well.

There were chances on both sides and especially the Slovakian went very close in the first half of the match after Rudy Mater´s cross. Filip took a good one-time shot with his left foot but unfortunately hit the bar.

Sebo, who is on loan from Rangers, was substituted in the 74th minute and enjoyed another good game alongside Steve Savidan, in front of 16.000 visitors.

Antoine Kombouare, Sebo´s manager, was pretty much satisfied after the match:”I am happy with the point and it is an important one. My players played responsibly and created several good chances. What is more, we didn´t concede a goal and hopefully we can build on this result in our next game against Rennes.”
